About me
Hi, I'm Pascal / PaszRetro.
I've been into computers ever since I was a kid. I grew up using TRS-80s, Amigas, C64s, MSXes, ZX Spectrums, and early IBM clones.
These days, I collect, restore, and use 8-bit and 16-bit computers. I love making pixel art and creating tracker music on my Amiga.
Why this site exists
Over the years, I’ve collected and created useful resources for my hobby. I wanted to share these resources, so this site was born. Right now, there's not a lot, but I plan to add more over time.
"Professional" life
When I'm not poking at old hardware or digging through forgotten manuals, I work as a UI/UX designer and front-end developer. I also work as an audio engineer in a semi-professional capacity. I've recorded and mixed well over a hundred albums and singles for bands in all kinds of genres.
Where you can find me
Apart from this site, you can check out my YouTube channel, where I post repair videos and upload restored footage related to old computers.
I also hang out now and then in the Retro Hardware Discord — feel free to say hi there! And if you're into restoring old computers, you should definitely join it.
